Pair arrested after terrified woman, 83, awoke to find man at her bedside Two people have appeared in court following a spate of offending which included the burglary of an elderly woman in Enniskillen who woke in the early hours to find a male shining a torch into her face. Sasha Harkin (20) of Castletown Square, Fintona and Daniel Rodgers (18) of Garden Mews, Cookstown are jointly charged with entering the victim’s property on June 7 as trespassers while armed with a knife with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm. They are further accused of stealing £66.42 worth of alcohol from an Enniskillen supermarket the previous day and interfering with a motor vehicle. Harkin faces two additional allegations of possessing cannabis and the prescription only-drug Xanax.

Elderly woman left ‘terrified’ in aggravated burglary Posted: 12:53 pm June 9, 2021 SHARE A COURT has heard details of how an 83-year-old Enniskillen woman was left ‘terrified’ when she was woken in her bedroom in the early hours of Monday (June 7) morning to a male shining a torch in her face. The incident happened on Derrin Road around 1.30am and according to police, the intruder left when the pensioner shouted at him to “get out”. Omagh Magistrates Court was told he was armed with a knife which he left behind him at the scene. Daniel Rogers (18) of Garden Mews, Cookstown, Co Tyrone appeared before the court by videolink from custody along with co-defendant Sasha Harkin (21) of Castletown Square, Fintona also in Co Tyrone.
