Behind me the grass has completely been burned away. Youre seeing charred marks on the side of the foothills. Fire crews were able to get out and get the fire contained. This has been an ongoing problem out here. The high heat is not helping. San Jose Fire Department responded to reports of a car fire on sierra road east into the hills from piedmont. The fire spread and was contained to 3 acres of brush fire. While they believe there was no foul play, neighbors are worried at multiple fires in the area.
