A greenhouse and hydroponics farm in North Utica will donate $10,000 to a local not-for-profit organization providing mental and behavioral health services.
Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri announced the donation from Brightwaters Farms to Integrated Community Alternatives Network, or ICAN, in a statement Wednesday.
“ICAN is a great organization that provides life-changing services to those in need, and Brightwaters Farms donation will help ICAN’s mission in keeping families together, as well as enhancing the quality of life of the individuals it serves,” Palmieri said.
Brightwaters Farms president Anthony Quintal said his family, and their partners, the DeRitis Family, are proud to support Utica and be part of the community.
