16 December 2020 | Natalie Bannerman Telxius has announced that it will provide landing and colocation services for Google’s new Grace Hopper subsea cable.
The new trans-Atlantic system will connect the US to Spain and the UK once live in 2022, and will enable Google to plan effectively for the future capacity needs of its global customers and users, it also adds a layer of security beyond what’s available over the public internet, according to Bikash Koley, vice president of Google Global Network, at the time of the cable’s announcement.
