A newly-released study extends the understanding of how acquired mutations in blood cells act as a new cardiovascular risk factor. Details were reported by the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares Carlos III (CNIC), Spanish National Center for Cardiovascular Research, the research entity which facilitated the study, published in the journal, Nature Cardiovascular Research.
