CONCORD A U.S. District Court judge sentenced a Farmington woman to five years in prison for her role in a fentanyl trafficking operation that operated in the Rochester area.
Sasha Rand, 34, of Farmington, previously pleaded guilty Sept. 11. She and and her husband Derek Rand were arrested in December 2018 as part of a string of arrests of fentanyl traffickers in the Rochester area.
According to court documents and statements made in court, the Rands used New Hampshire-based drug couriers to obtain fentanyl in Massachusetts and bring it to New Hampshire for distribution.
Derek Rand was sentenced in December 2019 to serve 7.5 years in federal prison.
