PRINCETON, Ind. (WFIE) - The Princeton Police Department has issued a warrant for a suspect in a shooting that happened last week.

Princeton Police Chief Derek McGraw told 14 News a man was shot in the hand around 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of W. Broadway St.
Police say a warrant was issued for 49-year-old Landon Bairfield with no bond. They say his last known whereabouts were over in the St. Louis area.

PRINCETON, Ind. (WFIE) - The Princeton Police Officer accused of allowing a suspect to toss a bag of heroin after his arrest, will be allowed to return to work.
In February, Brandt George reached a plea deal in the case.
He had been charged with a felony, but it was amended to a misdemeanor as part of the agreement.
George was sentenced to 12 months in jail, which was suspended to probation.
Police Chief Derek McGraw says he recommended to the Princeton Police Merit Board that George be terminated, but the board voted to approve his reinstatement when his probation is over.

PRINCETON, Ind. (WFIE) - Princeton police are investigating a fire in the 100 Block of East Water Street.
Chief Derek McGraw tells 14 News they’re not ruling out arson as a possible cause for the fire. He says they do have a person of interest in the incident.
No one was hurt, and Chief McGraw says the fire was put out quickly.
The incident remains under investigation.

GIBSON CO., Ind. (WFIE) - In Gibson County, cleanup wrapped up for the day after Monday night’s snowstorm.
Princeton Police Chief Derek McGraw said that as of Tuesday, there were no injuries as a result of the weather.
He commended Princeton drivers for keeping people safe despite the snow.
Princeton residents that spoke with 14 News reported minimal troubles.
Larry Matthews, who was in town shoveling, said the snow isn’t his favorite, but he can still handle it.
