Mack wins Warner Robins council seat, county voters extend E-SPLOST Listen to the content of this post: WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Houston County voters have chosen to extend the county’s Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax, or E-SPLOST, for five more years. The current E-SPLOST ends on March 31, 2022. The county’s board of education approved a referendum resolution in December that, if approved by voters, would extend the one-cent tax through March 31, 2027, or until a cap of $190 million is reached, whichever comes first. The Houston County Board of Elections tells 41NBC 5,256 of 5,999 voters (87.6%) were in favor of extending the E-SPLOST.

Walker did not participate in our interview due to an illness. Reid has worked in business management for the last 30 years. He s lived in Warner Robins with his family for the last 21 years. In just the last three years, he has amassed 8,000 followers on his Facebook page Enough is Enough, where he keeps track of city business. I think I ve done as much as I can as a regular citizen by running the page and moderating the page. I need to take it to the next level, says Reid.  Mack graduated from Northside High School in 1987 before joining the military. He returned to Warner Robins in 1995 to work on Robins Air Force Base. Now, he s on the team that works on F-15s.
