The fiscal consolidation plan seeks to repay the country's rising debt and narrow the budget deficit caused by the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic. "Thank you NEDA. This is what I've always been saying during budget deliberations. The Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) is set to conduct an online public interview of five applicants to the post of Deputy Ombudsman for Mindanao starting at 9 a.m. on April 28.
To be interviewed via Zoom are Rowena J. Apao Adlawan, Mario C. Duaves, Beda A. Epres, Maria Iluminada S. Lapid Viva, and Anderson A. Lo.
They applied to the post that was vacated last March 13 by Deputy Ombudsman for Mindanao Rodolfo M. Elman.
A check with Google showed that both Adlawan and Duaves are judges of the regional trial court (RTC); Epres, director of the General Investigation Bureau of the Office of the Ombudsman (OMB); Viva, also with OMB as head of the bids and awards committee; and Lo, undersecretary of the Presidential Management Staff.
