The proposal also mentioned reducing the traffic chaos on city roads. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Aashika Jain said that the EVs would be pressed into service to reduce pollution and save environment.
As per details, the civic body has collected Rs 31 crore from property tax, which is Rs 9 crore more than the target of Rs 22 crore. For achieving the feat, the officials of the property tax branch were honoured during Friday's House meeting.
