WARREN A Warren man filed a complaint against a Trumbull County Sheriff’s deputy stating the man inserted himself into an already diffused situation at a grocery store parking lot and used his gun to intimidate him.
Trevor Simpson, 42, filed the complaint Tuesday against deputy Joseph Denvir following an incident Sunday outside the Jamestown Giant Eagle on Mahoning Avenue NW.
Simpson said he went to the grocery store to buy Mother’s Day flowers for his wife, and after pulling in became involved in a dispute with another motorist over a parking spot. The two exchanged words, some of it regrettable, he said.
