Sheriff s office employees have been shopping over the last two weeks to fill the wish lists of 39 children for the fifth annual Shop with the Sheriff event.
The local Salvation Army provided the list of names, said Chief Deputy John Oliver, who organized the gift drive.
While the children usually accompany the employees to the Walmart to pick out their gifts during the annual Saturday morning program, the youngsters are staying safely in their homes.
