Man receives sentencing for long-term molestation of three children

– Pismo Beach resident Todd Anthony Hortillosa, 45, has been sentenced to 120 years to life, plus three years and eight months, in state prison for his conviction on 10 counts of committing a lewd act on a child under the age of 14 years, involving three separate victims occurring over a nine year period.

– San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Dan Dow announced today that a jury found Todd Anthony Hortillosa, 44, of Pismo Beach, guilty of ten counts of sex crimes against three children occurring over a nine-year period. The jury also found true that Hortillosa’s crimes involved multiple victims under the age of 14, a finding that provides for a potential life sentence.

Tyler Andree will serve 120 days in county jail and register as a sex offender for 20 years -San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Dan Dow announced today that a San Luis Obispo County Superior Court Judge sentenced San Luis Obispo resident Tyler Andree, 25, to serve 120 days in county jail, and to register as a sex offender for 20 years. Andree was also placed on formal supervised probation. It is important to note that in 2020, the California Legislature passed Assembly Bill 1950 that limited the length of felony probation to a term of two years for these offenses. The plea agreement was approved by the Honorable Judge Michael Duffy at the time of the plea on June 9, 2021. The terms of the agreement ensured that the defendant would be held accountable for his actions without subjecting the two young women to testifying in court and enduring the additional mental anguish of cross-examination by a defense attorney.

Morro Bay High School teacher charged with multiple sexual crimes against two minors

Tyler Dale Andree, 24, of San Luis Obispo MORRO BAY, Calif. A former Morro Bay High School teacher and coach has been charged with molesting two minors over a two-year period. On Tuesday, San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Dan Dow announced criminal charges have been filed against Tyler Dale Andree, 24, from San Luis Obispo. Andree is charged with multiple sexual crimes against two minors between December 2018 and October 2020 when he was a teacher and coach at Morro Bay High School. He was arraigned on one felony count of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, two felony counts of contacting a minor for the purpose of engaging in a sexual offense, and two misdemeanor counts of annoying or molesting a child.
