Pembrokeshire County Council Services providing support for young people in Pembrokeshire have been awarded with yet another Silver Quality Mark. The award, jointly administered on behalf of Welsh Government by the Education Workforce Council and Education Training Standards Cymru, recognises the team’s high quality provision for young people, as they aim to emulate the Gold Quality Mark attained in 2018. Pembrokeshire County Council offer workshops, holiday programmes, educational support and more for 11-25 year olds, through their Youth Service team. James White, Pembrokeshire County Council’s Deputy Chief Education Officer, said: “Three years ago, we were only the second local authority youth service in Wales to achieve the Gold Quality Mark for youth work.”

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], March 4 (ANI): Directorate of School Education of Kashmir on Thursday constitutes a 4-tier monitoring team to ensure the adherence of COVID-19 related SOPs in government and private schools in the valley.
According to a statement issued by the Directorate of School Education of Kashmir, the divisional level monitoring team consists of Joint Director Central/North Abid Hussain, Joint Director Bilal Khurshid, Joint Director SSA Shamsudin Bhat and Personal officer Muzamil Maqbool. District level monitoring team would consist of Chief Education Officer, Deputy Chief Education Officer and DEPO, the statement said.

Baramulla: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Mohammad Aijaz Asad today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review arrangements put in place for smooth conduct of JKSSB Class-IV examinations scheduled to be held on 27th, 28th of February and on Ist March 2021.
On the occasion, a comprehensive discussion on the subject was held wherein it was informed that 36717 aspirants are going to appear in these exams for which 19 exam centres have been established across the district.
After taking a thorough review, DC informed that this is the first ever exam being conducted by JKSSB for Class IV posts. He emphasized to work in coordination and cohesion for conducting the exams smoothly and peacefully.
