Pontotoc Police Lieutenant Jeffrey Turner, who died December 27, 2021, from COVID complications, was among eight officers whose names were added to the Wall of Mississippi’s Fallen Officers this year.
The Crime Scene Investigation team from the Pontotoc County Career and Technology Center ’s Law and Public Safety Class won first place at the recent state competition in Jackson.
