HAMPTON, NH A Seacoast SWAT team took a local teen into custody on Tuesday on charges after a shooting investigation that began more than two months ago.
Just before 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 9, police received a report from a resident about a shooting in the area of Cuttler Avenue around 4:15 a.m. Investigators, according to Deputy Chief Alex Reno of the Hampton Police Department, were able to determine a single shot was fired into an occupied vehicle. Police also developed a suspect Jakob Parkinson, 19, of Hampton. Reno said evidence recovered during the investigation, along with witness accounts, led to Parkinson being eyed as a suspect.
