Education Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones expressed DepEd’s commitment to prioritize the needs of the teaching and non-teaching employees amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
“We are truly committed to providing every necessary need of the teachers amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The Department always recognizes our teachers’ efforts and sacrifices to make sure that learners will be able to continue their education,” Education Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones said in a statement issued on Sunday.
The DepEd announced that the clothing allowance will be received “not earlier than the first working day of April of the current year.”
