Do this morning, chp investigating after a person was hit and killed by a car on highway 101. That collision happened on the northbound side of the freeway south of brokaw a road around 11 30 last night. The freeway was closed for more than two hours overnight for that investigation. So far chp is not identifying the victim or the driver. No one else was hurt. This is the first time a pedestrian has been killed in san jose this year. A group of homeless mothers who moved into a vacant house in west oakland are due back in court this morning. Different airlines, different apps, but both travellers discovered more than half their belongings were taken from their delivered bags. Newly engaged janessa couldnt situate to spend christmas with her fiances family in indianapolis. But they discovered their bags did not arrive. I was in hysteria. I started crying. United airlines offered to have a Third Party Vendor deliver the bags. I realized 60 of my belongings were gone including my most valuable items. A ski resort in lake tahoe is facing a lawsuit about harken piece. They are claiming fraud and breach of contract. The resort said they would charge 20 a day at a parking lot that used to be free to park in. Skiers said they bought their passes before the new policy was announced so they should not have to pay the fees. North star said they do not comment on pending litigation.
