A few of the occupations unusual for women are public accounting, bank, publicity, dog raising. drug growing, architecture, wood carving, bond and security saleswomanships, visiting housekeeping, politics, genealogy, pharmacy, police work, foreign-trade research and statistician. Each section of the book is written by a woman successful in the occupation, by Irene Armes, general secretary of the YWCA. of Brocton, Mass., and and “The YWCA Worker,” by Abigail T. Hawkes, cultivation secretary of the personnel bureau of the YWCA National Board.

ALBANY, N.Y. – Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed the New York Automatic Voter Registration Act of 2020 on Tuesday, which requires agencies to establish systems to streamline and expedite voter registration. From instituting early voting to making necessary reforms to the absentee ballot process, New York has already made elections more accessible, but we are far from finished,” said Cuomo. “With this new law on the books, we are taking this work a step further and not only instituting automatic voter registration, but creating a single uniform platform for registering online.
