Hong Kong: 82 COVID-19 cases detected

The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) today said it is investigating 82 additional COVID-19 cases, adding that residents of a Wong Tai Sin public housing block must undergo compulsory testing as further infections were reported there.
The centre s Communicable Disease Branch Head Dr Chuang Shuk-kwan told a press briefing there are 77 local cases, of which 37 have an unknown source of infection.
Of the cases linked with previous ones, two are residents of Kwai Tung House at Tung Tau Estate in Wong Tai Sin, taking the number of infections there to nine.
