Many Minnesota drivers were granted an extension on their drivers license renewals in 2020 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. According to Minnesota Driver and Vehicle Services, 200,000 Minnesotans got an extension if their licenses were set to expire between March 13, 2020 and February 28, 2021. Now they are informing drivers that they need to renew by March 31, 2021. To assist in renewing drivers licenses, the Department of Driver and Vehicle Services has opened some exams stations on Saturdays through March 27. The Duluth exam station is listed as one of those that will be open on Saturdays. Those open on Saturdays will be from 8am-4:30pm.
