Officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 2300 block of Tasker Street in the city s Point Breeze neighborhood at around 11:10 p.m., a spokesperson for the Philadelphia Police Department told Newsweek. When they arrived at the scene, officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the head. He was identified as 30-year-old Corey Jaynes, of North Philadelphia, the police spokesperson said. Jaynes was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at around 11:25 p.m.
