Maui visitor arrivals still down in March 2024, but at its highest level since the August 2023 wildfires : Maui Now

There were 206,049 visitors to Maui in March 2024, down significantly compared to 276,485 visitors (-25.5%) in March 2023 and 271,934 visitors (-24.2%) in March 2019, according to preliminary data from the state Department of Business Economic Development and Tourism.

Hawaiʻi Vacation Rental Performance Report for September 2023 : Big Island Now

The island of Hawai‘i vacation rental supply was 209,100 available unit nights (+26.1% vs. 2022, -4.6% vs. 2019) in September. Unit demand was 93,100 unit nights (+12.0% vs. 2022, -27.2% vs. 2019), resulting in 44.5% occupancy (-5.6 percentage points vs. 2022, -13.8 percentage points vs. 2019) with ADR at $214 (-4.9% vs. 2022, +46.6% vs. 2019). Hawai‘i Island hotels reported ADR at $373 and occupancy of 66.4%.
