Motion on the item to continue or file it. But we did hold it as a workshop. Yeah, you can conduct a workshop with less than quorum members, but technically you are in recess, not in a meeting at that point. Vice chair you have a preference . Do you want to at least do you want to continue item 4 and do no. 5 as a workshop . Does that make sense . Or do both items. Yeah, its up to you. Okay. So norman yee, our vice chair will like to continue items 4 and 5 as a workshop. And we will continue the items and take Public Comment on them. Because we did notice them. So we actually had this issue last week at the select committee, the city and the schools. And our clerks and our City Attorney did allow us to hear the presentations on the item. We werent able to file or continue the item, and we can do that at the next meeting. But we have precedence to do that. Thank you, i will hand things over to commissioner yee. To be clear, we are in recess as a committee now. And we will reconvene as a
Fatalities on that intersection. And we have so many pedestrians in chinatown, we definitely have to prioritize that intersection. And i do want to appreciate all the work. I dont want to be a session to give mta a hard time. We want to be sure that there is clear understanding what have we mean by vision zero, and nearterm improvements. And i think that the discussion is helpful, and understanding what is included on this list, and what should be continued to be pursued whether on the list or not. And i agree with commissioner yee, and if projects in the future and able to speedup, as a priority, and that is included on the list. I think this discussion is helpful, we cant talk to each other due to the brown act to be sure we are on the same page. I know that we have two other items, update on enforcement activities and the vision zero Progress Report. So i will return to make sure, if not able to find a member, we will regain quorum again. inaudible . I did have that question when no

Funding a thats on par thing between the serious you can find the money by its important this be done as expeditiously as possible you have a subway that end in the middle of chinatown thats as far as you get to get to north beach its an area that is dormant at night which the subway stations end this is 90 in no way subtracting from the downtown extension yeah, thats a top priority we need the funding roadway to make that a reality but if it explicit mean we cant be exploring it so its important ive visited a lot of cities in america and throughout the world in the eastern part of the United States and even the western cities are developing subway systems and transit systems that move people quickly to the parts of city were one of the density one it is interesting we should have had had one hundred years ago. Thank you commissioner fong. This item is one sort of for me, the fun part of sitting over on the commission to think about the future but to preserve the charm and history of S
Everybody was getting along fine with the new house. Instruction was well advanced and the project architect went to the Planning Department counter with a set of plans for a revision, is what he called it, a new permit revising the previous permit adding a roof deck and skylight and saw over the counter approval of this. It was brought to mr. Omakaro, but many knowledgeable architectings might go to the planning counter at that time if they were trying to get approval for something that might be questionable or sketchy. In fact, this permit authorized construction of a deck that similar mrip cant be approved. It is above the limit set by the special use district. The height limit of the general planning code for residential design is further limited by the special use district and no exception for anything above the 35 foot height limit is granted under that special use district. Its very unfortunate that the project sponsor sought to permit it in this way and frankly, im kind of baff
