This country has homelessness, poverty, mental illness, exworkers and so forth. Policing is morally and literally corrupt. San francisco is regarded as the most progressive city in this country. Where are your progressive values . Where is your imagination . Where is your humanity . Why do we continue to be differential to the Police Department . How long will you continue to pretend that policing serves the poor. When will you have the courage to try something fundamentally you, helping the citizens rather than fund the rich. I think the discourse has been clear. All of the calls have been coming in which have been incredible. I implore you to defund and abolish the police forever.
