He talks about living next door to the then Leader of the Opposition Margaret Thatcher on Flood Street, Chelsea, while he made the film here, bumping into her “a couple of times. She was very cordial. And because she was there, there was always a copper in our back alley, and I felt very safe leaving my car on the street. Ha!”
