A body found in the Colorado woods near an abandoned car was that of a 17-year-old student accused of wounding two school administrators in the shooting.
The shooting happened in an area away from classrooms as the student was undergoing a search as part of a “safety plan” that required him to be patted down daily, officials said.
A 17-year-old student who shot two administrators at East High School on Wednesday has been found dead in a nearby county, local authorities said. One victim remains in critical condition.
