New information is coming from the State Health Department Friday afternoon on the COVID-19 Vaccine Scheduler Portal.
It led to confusion for some, including the Dental Hygienists Association in the metro. They ve had their first shots, but they re having trouble scheduling their second doses.
Dental industry professionals are part of phase 2b of the vaccine rollout plan. But, one dental hygienist tells News 9 when she and others in her field try to book their second shot, they get pushed back to phase 4.
She says the new vaccine scheduling portal was not in place when she signed up for her first dose, so she had to answer all the registration questions when she went to book her second one.
