Born in Motta di Livenza, Italy on May 26, 1933 he was the youngest of 9 children. In 1957, he embarked on his ocean journey to find new opportunities in Canada. After settling in Fort William, he called for his love Silvana to join him in Canada and they began their life’s journey together, being married on December 26, 1962.
Carlo loved to sing and was an active member of St Dominic Church choir for many years. He had a light hearted demeanor with an infectious laughter that brought a smile to those around him. His perfectly timed “Beauty!” was his signature saying.
