The GOP bill said that credit services, investors, larger contractors and insurers that want to operate in Montana cannot “discriminate” against any people in any matter concerning the right to bear firearms.
Lawmakers in the Montana Legislature debate how much demand will occur in Medicaid, how to address staffing shortages, and if cuts to some budgets are prudent.
“This bill will be a huge win for children and families and a giant step towards improving Montana’s child welfare system,” said Rep. Jennifer Carlson.
Senate Bill 148 would expand childrens’ access to legal representation with the hope of giving them more of a chance to tell the court what they would like to happen to them.
