What started off in 2006 as a program that comprised a few hundred thousand boxes of table grapes would soon turn into a produce brand accounting for more than 10 million boxes a year as Divine Flavor enters its 16th season.

Mexican grower kicks off 15th Sonoran table grape season

Mexican grower kicks off 15th Sonoran table grape season It’s the 3rd week of May and Divine Flavor starts receiving its first shipments of grapes- officially kicking off of their Sonoran grape program for 2021. The company anticipates packing more than five million boxes this season out of Northern Mexico, which is a volume increase of about 25 percent from last year. The company’s VP of sales, Carlos Bon, is gearing up the company for their biggest commercial volume season since its establishment in 2006. Assisting Carlos and company into this year’s grape deal are Divine Flavor veterans Dennis Hay and Alan Morfin, sales managers, and Antonio Escobar, grape category manager. Joining the Divine Flavor sales team this season is a new member to the company, Mike Demattia, who was brought on earlier this year.
