“It (will) increase the firepower capability of the patrollers in responding (to) crime-prone areas,” Pasay City Police Chief Col. Cesar Paday-os said.
The city government on Monday turned over around P6.5 million worth of new equipment.
These include 18 units 5.56 Emtan M4 rifles, two units 5.56 Emtan sniper rifles, one reloading machine, 4,000 rds. 5.56 cal. (55 grain ammo), 2,000 rds. 5.56 cal. (69 grain ammo), 56,400 rds. 9mm cal. (124 grain ammo), one SWAT (Foton) van, one coaster (Toyota), and one passenger Hiace van (Toyota).
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano led the turnover in a small event in front of the city hall.
