But in a statement to the
Gazette, Ackerman said he regrets his comment and meant no disrespect.
In a discussion during a Feb. 25 ZBA meeting, Ackerman went back and forth with developers of the Silver City Galleria property.
Ackerman argued that they should know what companies would occupy the four proposed warehouses they want to make on the property, while the developers argued that in most cases, developers do not have that information at this stage of the process.
Ackerman made it clear that he would not support the project without this information, and then went on to say: How about this I will give you a break since I m on the Planning Board. If you take my suggestion, you have an ally on the Planning Board. If we approve it and you don t take my suggestion, I ll do everything in my power to bury you.
