SGA addresses tuition and budgets

In last week’s General Assembly, the Student Government Association (SGA) brought guest speakers Associate Dean of Students Jessica Dawson, Athletic Director Dr. Lisa Campos and District 10 Councilman Marc Whyte on stage. The main initiative of the night was to give insight into why UTSA has frozen its tuition rates and what that means for.

Admin gives classroom renovation updates at SGA assembly

University administrators presented updates about the evaluation of UTSA facilities and classroom renovations at the university’s five campuses. Presenters included Vice Provost for Academic Innovation Melissa Vito, the Academic Innovation team and Liz Rockstroh from the office of the vice president for business.  Rockstroh began by talking about the maintenance of campus buildings and explained.

Here are the COVID-19 vaccine pop-up clinics taking place around San Antonio SAN ANTONIO – A series of clinics are popping up to help ramp up the COVID-19 vaccination effort around San Antonio. Here is a list of the pop-up clinics: Saturday, July 10: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.: SA Vaccine Day at AT&T Center, 1 AT&T Center Parkway 78219. This clinic will be administering the Pfizer vaccine. 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.: San Antonio International Airport Terminal A Baggage Claim, 9800 Airport Blvd. 78216. This clinic will be administering the Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson vaccines. 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.: San Antonio Preparatory Community School, 6127 Summer Fest Dr. 78244. This clinic will be administering the Pfizer vaccine.

The COVID-19 vaccine appointments will be available on-campus this week and the next week with UTSA advising the Roadrunner community to check their email from the UTSA Recovery Operations sent April 12 for details, according to their website.
