With the potential for tens of millions of dollars at stake, a regional consortium hopes a new federal economic development program will boost the nuclear industry in the Hill City and Southwest Virginia.
Even with continual changes posed by the pandemic, the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance had 730 active members in 2021 and raised more than $1.6 million for economic development initiatives.
The Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance hosted its annual “Salute to Manufacturing” event Tuesday and heard about future trends and challenges in supply chains and resources.
