Woman killed in single-vehicle crash on Lee-Macon county line Updated Dec 23, 2020; A 57-year-old woman was killed Tuesday afternoon in a single-vehicle wreck on the Lee-Macon county line, according to Lee County Coroner Bill Harris. Diedred Denise Cannon, 57, of Notasulga, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 7800 block of Alabama Highway 14, Harris said. Cannon was going eastbound on Highway 14 when she apparently lost control of her vehicle in a curve while traveling at a high rate of speed, left the road and struck a tree, the coroner said. Cannon died instantly of blunt force trauma.
