Dallas woman faces murder charge in slaying of 57-year-old woman at Garland apartment

Trametria Denise Baldwin, 33, faces a murder charge in the death of Lorita Batiste.
Police and paramedics were called about 12:30 p.m. Saturday to an apartment in the 800 block of La Prada Drive, near Northwest Highway, where an unspecified medical emergency was reported.
They found Batiste, 57, unconscious in the apartment with signs of “obvious trauma” to her body, police said. Baldwin also was at the apartment and appeared to have been involved in a physical altercation, according to police.
