IRELAND'S first solar-powered hotel and spa complex, The Salthouse in Ballycastle, is investing £3.5 million in a new restaurant and a collection of ‘eco cottages’ which will create and sustain 30 jobs on the north coast when it opens early next year.

A new public artwork has been unveiled on Dungiven s Main Street.
The piece, entitled New Dawn, Renewal, Abundance , was completed by local artist Sara Cunningham-Bell after Dungiven Regeneration Club received council funding for the project.
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council held a consultation with the group, whose members are drawn from different backgrounds within the community, to shape the project.
“They asked what was significant about the local area and we came up with artistic ideas,” said Denis McHenry, one of the group s members.
