quite some time. it is supposed to crest at 43 feet. 30 is normal. so it s not a great situation here. they re also really concerned about those low-lying areas, the areas under the overpasses. there s also concern about a river that s in this area of denim springs which flooded quite a bit in 2016 when they had a storm and the rain hung out over the baton rouge area for some time. one woman we spoke with had five feet in her home. they are a little concerned about tornados in this area as the storm moves through. but the good news is they have restored power to quite a few people now. about 12,000 people without power. yesterday it was 15,000. a tad of an improvement, even though folks are not out of the woods just yesterday. randi kaye, appreciate it. i like the half glass full point of view. thank you so much. still so much more straight ahead in the newsroom, but first
