The TBJ Question As I posted about a few days ago, I’m still not sure whether the Washington Wizards are a potential playoff team this season, and last night’s back and forth game ultimately blown (in the most dumb, Wizards-y way possible) against the Celtics didn’t really clear anything up for me. But, as the trade deadline grows nearer, I’ve been wondering about what kinds of trades the Wizards could manage with this top-heavy team. As I look through the Wizards roster, I’m increasingly starting to ask myself a question I never thought I’d ask just a few months ago: should the Wizards consider trading Troy Brown Jr.? Is trading a recent first round draft pick with future potential worth it if Scott Brooks won’t play him anyways, even if it means giving up on a promising young player that hasn’t even seen three full years of league playing time yet? And, if so, what kind of return could the Wizards get for the improving 2018 first rounder?
