Hamilton Public Health Services (HPHS) reported 50 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday.
There are 838 active cases of COVID-19 in the city and the positivity rate is now at 8.4 per cent.
The new cases on Monday take the cumulative total over the course of the pandemic to 20,126.
A total of 378 people have died in the past year after contracting COVID-19.
Meanwhile, 91 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 as of May 21.
At St. Joseph s Healthcare Hamilton, there are 32 patients currently admitted with confirmed cases of COVID-19. There are 26 patients in the intensive care unit. A total of nine staff and physicians are self isolating.
