香港新任保安局局長鄧炳強：服務社會不分“文官”“武官” 　　根據香港特區行政長官林鄭月娥的提名和建議，國務院6月23日任免香港特別行政區政府主要官員，其中決定任命原警務處處長鄧炳強為保安局局長。褪去軍裝制服的鄧炳強說，自己已很快適應保安局局長的工作，再次感謝行政長官和中央政府給予機會。　　談及未來工作的重點，鄧炳強指出，局方今年將有數項法例修訂，包括有關酷刑聲請的工作已經完成，未來亦要進行有關消防修例等。　　至於基本法第23條本地立法工作，鄧炳強表示，根據基本法，香港必須要做、要盡快做，但由於法例涉及層面較廣，政府會認真嚴肅預備，盡一切能力做好預備工作，惟未必能夠在今年內完成立法。　　當日，鄧炳強出席月壤入港揭幕儀式。他表示，有機會參觀國家探月展覽感到十分感動�
