Kansas super-senior midfielder Rylan Childers was named a Second-Team Academic All-American as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday. Childers is only the second KU women’s soccer student-athlete in program history to be voted to a CSC Academic All-America team, joining Caroline Smith who earned the honor both in 2004 and 2005.
Student-athletes from the Kansas Athletics programs got to walk the red carpet and celebrate the 2021-22 athletic year on Sunday evening at the Rock Chalk Choice Awards, which were hosted at the Lied Center on KU’s campus.
