The order is in place for 24 hours A POLICE dispersal order will be in place across much of Winsford town centre from this afternoon. The order, which lasts for 24 hours from 4:30pm on December 31, means officers can ask groups of two or more to leave the affected area. Announcing the order via a Facebook post, Cheshire Police’s Winsford Swanlow and Dene Sgt Cooper said: “A dispersal order has been put in place again from 4:30pm today running until 4:30pm on New Years Day, in the Winsford Town Centre area. “This is in response to large groups of youths in the area causing anti-social behaviour and committing offences.
