LOCK HAVEN After several years, Lock Haven has a Boy Scout troop again.
Troop 711 was started two months ago by three boys and their families to offer shorter travel distance than before.
Previously, Clinton County only had two troops Troop 66 in Woolrich and Troop 54 in Beech Creek.
“It’s a middle ground for everyone. We’re hoping more boys will want to take advantage of the shorter distance,” Jennifer Crawford, advancement chairman for the group, said.
