Democratic Congressman Eric Swalwell says the Democratic party needs to better understand the white nationalism which largely backs former President Donald Trump.
“What we must understand though is to better understand white nationalism at its roots," he said.
"It’s recruiting, it’s training and it’s targeting as many of those individuals who are listening and waiting for the president”.
Mr Swalwell claimed Donald Trump's impeachment trial "functionally disqualified" the former president in the "court of public opinion".
