Democrat Nick Miller defeated Republican Dean Browning in the contest for the Lehigh Valley’s newly drawn 14th Senate District, with an unofficial margin of about 5,000 votes.
The new 14th Senatorial district includes parts of Lehigh and Northampton counties, including Walnutport and Lehigh Township.
Candidates are Republican Dean N. Browning, a former Lehigh County Commiss.
