CLEVELAND, Ohio - A country up-and-comer and some highly regarded veterans have new albums this week, but an “Essential” new edition of K-pop sensation BTS’ latest may just drown ‘em all out.
Album of the Week: With her young career on a roll, Country Music Association Award-winner Carly Pearce follows last year’s self-titled album with “29” (Big Machine), a seven-track EP featuring the already hit “Next Girl” and songwriting collaborations with the likes of Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne, Emily Shackelton and more. Pearce also co-produced the set with Osborne.
