LITTLE ROCK, Ark. David Cook, Public Policy Manager of Alzheimer’s Association - Arkansas Chapter, joins Theba Lolley for a conversation about the Alzheimer s and Dementia Advisory Council.
On March 17, Governor Asa Hutchinson signed House Bill 1434 into law under ACT 391 of the 93rd General Assembly.
This legislation ensures that Arkansas is prioritizing its response to Alzheimer s and other dementia.
“The council establishes a collaborative approach to identifying some gaps in services and areas to improve upon,” says Cook. It also helps us develop strategies to improve care and better address Alzheimer s and dementia.
