Chelmsford Star Co-operative Society, an independent Co-operative Society based in Chelmsford, Essex, is starting a home delivery trial with Snappy Shopper, the cutting-edge home delivery app and web platform.
The new home delivery service with Snappy Shopper will start on 1 March 2021 across central Chelmsford. The website and mobile-app service, will initially be offered to those closest to the Chelmsford city centre, and will enable shoppers to order their convenience shop online and see it arrive at their door within 60 minutes.

In its Future of Convenience Report 2021 , Lumina Intelligence explored consumer trends shaping the industry and how they can be leveraged in the current uncertain climate and beyond.
The researchers focused on the legacies of 2020 and how post-pandemic behaviour will impact shopper intentions.
The report highlighted three key legacies from 2020: the suburban migration, the development of new routes to market and what the insight group termed ‘recessionary revivals’.
